UnTemporary Horizon di Ernesto Morales
Inauguration and opening of the exhibition: 29 August 2024 at 6.00 pm
UnTemporary Horizon is the exhibition dedicated to the most recent and new works by the artist Ernesto Morales, set against the gentle hills of Langhe and Roero. Conceived as a project extended in time and territory, the exhibition allows the light of Morales’ art, in strong connection with that of nature, to flood the Barbaresco Tower’s space, the GART Arte Contemporanea gallery and the Castel of Magliano Alfieri, accompanying the visitor in the discovery of expanding pictorial universes, boundless panoramas and golden lines of horizon in continuous evolution.
ERNESTO MORALES
Ernesto Morales was born in 1974 in Montevideo, Uruguay, and began his artistic journey in Buenos Aires, where he lived until 2006 before moving to Europe. After an initial period in Paris, he established his studio in Italy, first in Rome and since 2011 in Turin. His artistic research has led him over the past twenty years to exhibit in museums and international galleries across Europe, America, and Southeast Asia. Between 2009 and 2024, he institutionally represented Italy, Argentina and Uruguay with a series of significant solo exhibitions. In 2019, his retrospective “Mindscapes” was inaugurated in New York at the Consulate General of the Argentine Republic. In 2023, he held the exhibition “Come fosse luce” in dialogue with the work of Lucio Fontana at La Crescentina Foundation and, from November 2024 to February 2025, his exhibition “The Beginning and the Light” will be held at the Rothko Museum in Latvia.
